Visiting Lucy School
The best way for families to truly experience what makes Lucy School such a special place is to visit while school is in session. While touring the school and grounds you will be able to ask questions that will allow you to assess whether we are an appropriate educational experience for your child.
Monthly open houses are held at 9:00 on the third Wednesday of each month beginning in November and continuing through May. Space is limited and visits are by appointment only.
Please call the school at 301-293-1163 or contact email@example.com to schedule a visit.
Applying to Lucy School
At Lucy School, the admission process begins with a completed and signed Application for Admission. First through Eighth grade applicants will be invited to a shadow day. This will provide the applicant with an intimate experience of a typical school day and opportunities to get to know and interact with prospective classmates and teachers. Recommendations, recent report cards, and testing information, if available, will help with the process. Additional material may also be requested, such as a writing sample and math assessment, to help school staff determine appropriate grade placement and the ability of the student to access curriculum for a grade level placement.
All applicants will be issued an Enrollment Contract and the student will become enrolled once a signed copy of the Contract with the Registration Fee is returned to the school.
